This 1200 square foot renovation was constructed in three phases while the facility remained fully operational . Each phase require intense rigging to allow the equipment to be properly positioned. The MRI required the exterior wall to be opened to allow for installation while the X-ray was positioned through a second story window. The cat scan required a section of the lobby floor to be removed to allow the unit to be set in place in the basement. All of these areas had to be restored to their original condition. The electrical service required substantial upgrade to accommodate the new equipment and a special trench had to be cut into the basement floor to position the conduit. All of the rooms had their finishes renovated after the equipment was set in place. Because of Candor's experience, the project was completed on time and within budget. Most importantly , the practice remained in service throughout the entire construction process.
