New York Animal Medical Center was a multi-year, multi-million dollar renovation to a fully operational, occupied facility. The first phase remodeled the main entrance, first floor, second floor clinics, emergency and waiting rooms, medical records and the examination rooms. Phase II was the renovation to all patient wards, surgery suites, special procedures rooms, operating rooms, laboratory and testing areas, intensive care units, corridors and all support areas. Phase III consisted of a new roof addition, MRI suites and support areas.
